The winner of the Outstanding Korean Actor at the Seoul
International Drama Awards 2013 and the man who brought you Arang and the Magistrate and the mostly
viewed movie in Korea, The King and theClown, is back this 2013 for another heart breaking crime-drama series
where he plays a fugitive which holds a two-week time to do the only thing that
is right.

Synopsis:
Jang Tae San, played by Lee Joon Ki, got involved with the
gangsters and uses his streetwise wits to survive. He then meets the
kind-hearted Seo In-hye, played by Park Ha Sun and falls in love with her. The
only woman that can see through Tae San and feel his wounded past.
Later, In-hye get’s pregnant with their child and Tae San
decided to quit his gangster life. But circumstances came when the gang boss, Moon
Il-seok (Jo Min Ki), blackmailed Tae San of killing In-hye if he doesn’t do
what he wants.
Forced by the situation, Tae San tells In-hye to get an
abortion and breaks up with her, leaving In-hye broken and hurt. Tae San did
what his boss told and got imprisoned for the crime he didn’t commit.
Years passed and Tae San got out of jail but little did he know
that In-hye had the child and raised it. Now, they meet again with In-hye asking
for Tae San’s help to save their daughter’s life that was diagnosed with leukemia.
Haunted by his guilt, this is his one and only chance to make things right.
Tae San needed to make a bone marrow transplant for her
daughter that is scheduled in two weeks. As the day gets closer, again Tae San is
dragged to a series of events where he is again set-up by the gang boss Il-seok
as the murderer and now he is chased by hired gun men and the authority.
Will Tae San be able to precede the transplant? Will he take
his life back again? Will their lives be at stake?
Watch Lee Joon Ki play another dense role that will surely
get you wanting more.
