Upcoming K-Dramas

Watch out for tvN’s newest drama “Basketball”

There is another drama series that will surely be a worth to watch. Last October 14, tvN’s newest drama starring Yenny Park of Wonder Girls, Gong Hyung Jin, Jung In Sun, Ahn Suk Hwan, Lee Han Wee, Park Soon Chun, and Jin Kyung held their press conference.

The drama series is entitled “Basketball”, where it is set during the Japanese colonial era. The drama depicts not just about the war or the disputes of that time, but also the struggles of one man’s dream in a game called basketball.

The drama was based on the real story of the first and the last Korean Basketball Team to represent the once unified Korea and joining the 1948 London Olympic Games.

Kang San (Do Ji-han) came from a poor family and dreams of coming out from the slum. With his determination he gets to the national basketball team and then meets the beautiful and upper class girl  Choi Shin-Young (Lee Elijah).

Yun Eun Hye and CN Blue’s Jung Yong Hwa, in an upcoming drama

In the KBS upcoming drama "Future Choice", Yun Eun Hye plays as Na Mi-rae. She will travel back in time to correct some mistakes.

Jung Yong Hwa, on the other hand plays as Park Se-joo, who is an heir of a big television network company but he will work as a lowly cameraman.

On September 11th, the two lead characters filmed their first scenes, where they are having a somewhat sweet date in a convenience store. Mi-rae is drinking beer while Se-joo watches her as he sips his coffee.

Looks like another time-slip drama like the hit series Queen Inhyun’s Man and Faith. Slipping through time and making some changes yet battling some conflicts in the future. That surely is hard to handle.

“Yun Eun Hye and Jung Yong Hwa worked well together as a romantic and sweet couple,” said Annex Telecom, the production company behind the drama. “Look forward to the heart fluttering relationship between Na Mi Rae and Park Sae Joo.”

From The Heirs comes The Inheritors. It is said that SBS used it as a title for a promotional venue so they came up with the change.

Below are stills of the much anticipated drama this year.

Park Shin Hye who plays as Cha Eun Sang appeared in dishwasher attire where she still looks gorgeous.

The writer built up Kim Tan’s character (played by Lee Min Ho) as the ever perfect human being in the drama. Surely, when he was that stubborn yet caring Gu Jun Pyo before was well loved by many fans, then this character of him as Kim Tan surely will make their hearts melt again.

In the drama Kim Tan is the heir of an Empire conglomerate and one of the top richest men. For a spice, Kim Tan searches for happiness despite his status and a tragic past haunts him too! Exciting!

Below is a still where Kim Tan meets Cha Eun Sang for the first time. The rich kid Kim Tan is seen standing in his luxurious car.

Kim Woo-bin plays as Choi Young-Do who we see is washing dishes too? ^_^

The Inheritors’ casts are currently filming in California and the drama airs October 9.
