CL smoking?

2NE1’s CL posted an Instagram photo where she is smoking a hookah.

The 22-year old rapper and singer, is an Instagram fanatic though she is a bit innocent on some techie stuff and we often see her updating her account, posing with other big celebrities or having a break after a recording or practice. But her recent post last August 22, where she is smoking, draw attention to many netizens.

The image shows CL sitting in a hookah lounge smoking out of a water pipe. Many expressed their concerns and disappointments as what they have known to CL’s image. Some are troubled that smoking can cause various health problems while some also agreed and said it was ‘cool’ and she looks relaxed while smoking.

Some are against and some are accepted the fact. But CL is not the only Kpop idol to have this kind of issue when it comes to smoking. Even her label mates Big Bang’s G-Dragon and TOP who were caught smoking before and JYJ’s Yoochun that actually has a medical record of respiratory disorder.

Comments include, "How irresponsible", "I'm so disappointed in you CL", "Who cares?", "She's still my idol" and "It's just hookah, not drugs - everybody relax!"

How to lose weight? – the 2NE1 way

Here are some of 2NE1’s secrets how they looked really gorgeous during their latest single “Falling in Love” music video.

Because it’s a summer theme, and exposing more skin is a must, the girls prepared like rookies in the industry to make their images more pleasing.

Here’s what they shared during the interview.

Park Bom said, "People only look at my legs. I wish they would look at other areas. That is why I worked hard to go on a diet for my top half. I tried to tone up my hip area but my members don't have to work too hard to minimize their hips. That is why I decided to focus on my volume."

While Dara shared about her abs, "We were filled with passion this time around. There are workouts that we could only do with our trainer but after we came back home from the gym, we did 10 more sets. In the end, my abs were not pretty 11-character abs but more like a washing board. That is when I realized that I have to work out with an expert."

Minzy shared an advice, "I don't know if it's because I am still young but I lost more baby fat. I decreased my intake of carbohydrates and focused on working out. There are times when I don't eat anything at all when I go on a diet but if you decrease your intake of carbohydrates, you can eat a little bit and still lose weight."

CL, though busy with her solo debut and 2NE1's comeback shared how she manages her day-to-day, "Starting a year or two ago, I began to take 30 minutes out of my day to meditate. After I meditate, I felt like I can spend my day more peacefully and meaningfully. It is a time to invest in myself. A little while after my debut, I realized that I need to take time for myself. Sometimes I meditate in my car for the times when I'm really busy."

How 2NE1 dealt with their dating bans

At a website, to celebrate their comeback in the latest album "Falling in Love", 2NE1 member Dara reflected some memories on her dating ban being lifted last year.

Last 2012, Sandara Park and Park Bom were given a freedom to date, at last!

Sandara wrote in her M2day, "Today's new years! 99% of the texts that I received from my friends and acquaintances were, 'I hope you get a cool boyfriend this year,' and 'Have a wonderful love this year!' It seems that people around me are more worried than I am about getting a boyfriend! As promised by YG CEO, we are free to date starting this year! Woot! Anyways, everyone, have a blessed new year! I want to become cuter this year!"

And fans commented, "Congratulations on your dating ban being over!" and "I hope you meet a nice and cool boyfriend this year."

But how were they restricted?

I their agency YG Enterainment, the four girls are made to signed a contract where they are not allowed to date. It is a bit of a personal issue but the girls are willing to set aside it all just to succeed and focus on their work.

The 28-year old kpop idol Dara, said, "I kind of pity myself. Last year, I had the ban, so I thought, 'I have to listen well to the CEO.' But now that it's lifted, it feels even weirder," and added "Even though I'm allowed to date now, [I don't]."

Their leader CL also said that even without a ban on dating, as Kpop icons, it is still difficult.

For CL, she stated, "My image is also a problem. Since I say on stage, 'I'm the best', not only men but also other women get scared when trying to talk or approach me."

The 22-year old rapper/singer has one more year of her dating ban. Her unnies [Dara and Park Bom] were lifted last year because of their age but Minzy and CL’s dating ban will be lifted next year.

CL also said, “we don't go out on variety shows, and we only stand on one stage per week, so we don't have much of a chance to meet other celebrities. Since we're always working, we don't have opportunities to meet new people. We've never even had a break since our debut."

Well, fans are happy whether they have a boyfriend or not, or dating or not, as long as they don’t hurt the hearts of their favorite idols.

Let’s just hope that the 2NE1 girls will find their perfect match!
