Does anybody doesn’t recognize the K-Pop mega star Big Bang leader yet? Well, this article will probably introduce you to a man with a lot in mind.

Know in his stage name as G-Dragon, Kwon Ji-yong in real life, is making a name in the world of music, entertainment and even fashion.

Young men's lifestyle magazine Complex did an exclusive one week feature of the 25-year old composer, singer and rapper, G-Dragon dubbed as 'Coup D'etat Week'.

It started on the 9^th until the Friday the 13^th of September making articles focusing and digging deep on the music genius.

The online articles include G-Dragon’s humble beginnings, his backgrounds and inspirations, some excerpts from his interviews with big names in music and fashion and exclusive inputs from the man himself. Also, a cover story of the making of his Coup D'etat and some personal favorites the idol star picked.

A lot more to learn from the young man that made an impact to the industry not just in Korea but he offers himself to the whole world.

G-Dragon is asking for your ideas

In G-Dragon’s Twitter account, he said, “I want to shoot a music video for 'Who You?' so please send me some ideas.  I would like to try out your idea if it's really good.”

Fans were really thrilled and after days, the G-Dragon’s tweet was re-tweeted over 5,600 times and favorite nearly 4,000 times.

G-Dragon also wrote, "I want to film 'R.O.D,' too.  'Niliria' doesn't have an MV, either.  Personally, I want to try filming 'I Love It' and 'Black' so badly.. There's so much I want to do, but so little time."

Congratulations to G-Dragon winning the #1 spot on Mnet’s “M! Countdown”

The Big Bang leader, G-Dragon, that recently released his second album with songs that captivated many fans’ ears.

On the weekly performance of Mnet's M! Countdown, many artists performed. In the end G-Dragon won the first place beating KARA.

On this episode, G-Dragon had his "Coup D'etat" featuring Team A & B of 'WIN'. Artist that made their comeback stage performances were 5dolls, JY Park and BTS.

Other performers were Sunmi, Henry, Gajami Boyscout, Bumkey,AA, SPICA, B.A.P, Shin Choi, Ladies' Code, ZE:A, K.Hunter and Royal Pirates.

G-Dragon’s latest solo album on his birthday

G-Dragon’s first solo album was released on his 20^th birthday last 2009. His latest solo album will also be released on his birthday this year, as YG Entertainment posted on their YG-LIFE blog.

“Just like his first album, G-Dragon will be involved in the entire making of his second album including writing the lyrics, composing the music, and producing the album. 10 songs will be included in the album. Rather than have several foreign artists to do featuring in the album, we decided to just one legendary foreign artist instead. There were many male rappers on our shortlist, but we wanted a female rapper. In the end, the answer was clear, and that person was Missy Elliot.” YG's post YG-LIFE blog.

Another music genre will be revealed to the fans, as they planned to mix a Korean traditional folk song to G-Dragon’s music and Missy Elliot’s rap.

G-Dragon talks on marrying

The TV show “Thank You” by SBS Korea, G-Dragon’s other side is revealed. It was also in the show where G-Dragon cooked a meal called “Jjapguri” – a mixture of “Jjapaghetti” and “Neoguri”.

The March 15 airing of "Thank You" show, where GD showed his culinary skills.

The show went a trip to Jeju island together with other celebrities, Kang Soo Jin, Kim Mi Hwa and Cha In Pyo. There, G-Dragon was asked questions about dating and marriage.

 “I want to get married as soon as possible. (If I had somebody to marry) I would even marry that person tomorrow.”

 “I heard that when you meet the person you are supposed to marry, you know in an instant, is that true?” These are G-Dragon’s statements.

Is G-Dragon really in for settling down? And who could the lucky girl be?

G-Dragon also asked Cha In Pyo what it was like to marry someone who is working in the same industry. These could be intriguing questions coming from G-Dragon.

The new variety show was newly launched which garnered high ratings over viewers. In the show, celebrities are taken to a serene place and they get to bond with the other celebrity host and share life stories that will surely warm our hearts.

G-Dragon Will Finally Appear in KBS

Big Bang's G-Dragon will finally be appearing on KBS 2TV's "Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook", and with the news, the race to obtain tickets for the recording has been reported to have been the fiercest battle that "Sketchbook" has witnessed.

It seems those who were able to obtain tickets were able to witness new softer sides of the singer as he planned a variety of never-before-seen performances.

One stage he showcased was a collaboration between himself and 2NE1's Minzy. The two put on "Missing You", a song originally featuring Jaurim's Kim Yoona as the vocalist, but Minzy put her own fresh spin on the track with her vocals.

G-Dragon also performed another version of "CRAYON", with a band sound, in addition to showcasing stages for "One of a Kind" and the unforgettable hit, "This Love".

Filming for Sketchbook took place on the evening of the 9th. The seats for the shooting was handed out by lottery, and it is said the ratio of obtaining a ticket was 75:1, setting a record for the amount of ticket applications received by the show.

The episode of Sketchbook will air on the 19th, so stay tuned!

G-Dragon Wins #1 on M-Countdown

Mnet’s “M! Countdown” this week is full of amazing performances!

On September 27, new girl group BBde Girl made its debut with title track “Fooling Around”, while Navi and ABLE made their comeback stage for “Don’t Go” and “Mystery” respectively.

Other performers that night included KARA, FT Island, Mighty Mouth, U-KISS, T-ara, Secret, ZE:A, Orange Caramel, Soran, SPICA, B.A.P, Baek Ah Yeon, BTOB, TASTY, Two X and Nep.

And for the finale of the show, G-Dragon won this week’s ‘M! Countdown’ with his latest track “Crayon”.

Big Bang's G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung Talks About Seungri

The members of Big Bang commented on Seungri's recent string of scandals, and spoke carefully and honestly about their feelings on the situation.

G-Dragon held his online concert on Sepetember 25, 'GD Friends Live' through portal site Naver. Fellow members Taeyang and Daesung went as well to give support and joined GD in a talk session.

The three of them started by updating fans on T.O.P., who was injured his hand while filming his upcoming film, 'Alumnus'. Then they talked about Seungri, G-Dragon started by saying, “Seungri is doing well. He’s filming in Japan right now. He’s fine.”

Taeyang stated carefully, “I’ll just be frank about this. We reprimanded him a lot. He’s reflecting on his actions now. Don’t people make mistakes? I think for us, as his brothers, we need to forgive those mistakes. These are problems that we must carry with us. Once again, we reprimanded Seungri and will make sure that it won’t happen again.

Daesung added, “Shall we finish this off by saying ‘Seungri-ya, we miss you. We love you’?”

But then Taeyang honestly said back, “I can’t actually say that I love him right at this moment. I think he needs more time to reflect.”

G-Dragon also said, “I nor any of us, are in any position to be reprimanding anyone, but I will work hard if it means that we can show a better image to everyone. I think it’s all up to us as to how well we do. He’s currently self-reflecting, I know because I’ve been through it before. These times aren’t just wasted times, but times that truly help your life. Thinking about it in a different light, you can see it as a good experience as well. If you all view him in a good light, I’m sure that Seungri will be able to show you a better image as an even better man and adult.”

Finishing the topic, G-Dragon stated towards Seungri, “Seungri, I don’t love you yet as well but I will love you and I miss you. Fighting.”
