Big Bang’s TOP, Wins at the “Asia Star Awards”

Last October 5, Big Bang member, TOP, won the Rookie Award at the Asia Star Awards, the official party of the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF).

The only Korean actor that won an award in the ceremony, which gave away awards in four categories. T.O.P debuted as a bona fide film actor in 2010 through “71: Into the Fire” and will return to the big screen after three years with “The Commitment.”

Idol Stars Living in Luxurious Homes

Let’s sneak to your idols purchased homes and their market values. Many idol stars live in luxurious villas and premium residential commercial complexes and they definitely value the importance of saving their earnings and managed to purchase their desired home sweet home.

Let’s start with the Asian Prince, Jang Geun Suk. He resides in a villa at more than $ 3.5 million that is equipped with top home security system. Visitors must pass through check points to gain access namely the parking lot, building entrance and elevator. It houses a theater and coffee shop, a screen golf facility and more! Among his neighbors are actresses Lee Hye-young (Can You HearMy Heart) and Seo Ji-young (Dae Mul) also live in the same complex.

The dubbed post-Yonsama of Japan Kim Hyun Joong lives in a luxurious villa in Cheongdam-dong, a district in Seoul with a dense population. His neighbors include Cha Seung-won (The Greatest Love) and married couple Sul Kyung-gu (The Tower, Haeundae) and Song Yun Ah.

Lee Seung Gi that earned millions from commercial endorsements alone lives in a $ 2 million unit in an apartment complex in Kamnang-gol. The complex has a fitness center, a golf practice center and an event hall. Top stars Kim Jae Joong, Lee Hyo-ri and Kim Yong-man also has units in the complex.

The young artist TOP of the famous boy group Big Bang purchased a luxurious villa that has a market value of nearly $ 3 million dollars.

Let’s go to JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong unit in Kamnang-gol (same building with Lee Seung Gi) which is in the penthouse that is valued at nearly $ 3 million dollars. His beautiful home has elegant marble flooring that became a talk of the town.

JYJ’s Kim Junsu also resides in a deluxe townhouse in Paju, Korea, with his parents. The 2975 m² townhouse was valued to $ 1.5 dollars that has an exclusive garden and a luxurious bar. His house was then revealed to the fans through his Twitter account.

UN village, a wealthy residential area in Hannam-dong is also a home for famous actors and actresses namely Lee Young Ae, couples Jung Joon Ho and Lee Ha Jung, Soo Ae and Kim Myun-min.

The soul singer Taeyang, favors the song “A Fool’s Only Tears” from their 2007 debut studio album BigBang Vol. 1

I am not so sure, but to maknae Seungri, this song definitely is about him. In an interview, Big Bang’s youngest member confessed of his past about a girl who told lies to him. “Because I knew she was just waiting for me to break up with her, I felt angry and miserable. I poured all the hurt I received and anger I felt into this song”, he said.

Featuring Jennie Kim, Suengri’s mini album for 2011 includes the song “GG BE”

Big Bang’s TOP is rumored to be the next lead role of “Tazza 2”

From the block buster hit Tazza: The High Rollers (2006) or widely known as “Tazza”, comes its sequel “Tazza 2” where Big Bang’s TOP is on the watch list.

Choi Seung Hyun (TOP) finished his recent filming of the movie “The Alumni” where TOP plays the lead actor as a North Korean spy forced to become a killer.

Known for his heavy roles in the movie 71: Into the Fire, Iris the Movie and Nineteen, YG Entertainment, TOP’s agency, made a statement that the singer/actor is reviewing the role. If TOP confirms, he will play the lead role as Ham Dae Gil, the nephew of Kim Goni, the male lead on the first movie.

Tazza: Revenger tells the story of a man who also lost his fortune after his best friend betrays him. The second volume is said to have another storyline but has a link to the first movie.  

Let's watch out for TOP's block buster movies this year!

Another Big Bang Concert for the VIP

Kpop Group Big Bang recently held their Japan concert and gathered 50,000 fans.

The said concert was held last December 5 at Tokyo Dome entitled "Big Bang Alive Tour 2012 Japan Final in Dome".

The jam-packed concert runs for almost 3 hours with a total of 24 songs and 5 songs as encores.

Daesung made an announcement regarding his upcoming first solo album plus his solo concert to be held in Japan as well. His album will be release in February containing cover versions of some Japanese songs and hold concerts at Budokan and Kobe World Memorial Hall respectively.

Also, Seungri said that this night is a very special night for us and for our fans, and they dreamed of having a concert at Tokyo Dome which is finally came true. Big Bang held a concert at the JCB Hall in Tokyo 3 years ago, attracting almost 2,000 fans only.

After invading Asia, Europe and America early this year, Big Bang will soon invade Hong Kong, UK (London), Fukuoka (Japan), and Seoul (Korea) as their last pit stop for their Big Bang Alive Tour 2012. Watch for that!
