Even Idol Stars Have Insecurities

Looking at them on their dramas, movies and others are like gods and goddesses that came down to earth, but what they see is actually quite different.

In the hit drama series ‘The Heirs’, lead actors Park ShinHye and Lee Min Ho have their own insecurities saying that they don’t like what they look.

Actress Park Shin Hye that debuted in her acting career in 2003, became the most-demanded actress in her generation and appearing on various endorsements, somewhat thought that she is not that beautiful. An issue appeared when she was questioned about her nose being altered because of a slightly crooked nose tip. “As the tip of my nose is slightly crooked, I got comments from people saying that I looked ugly or that the end of my nose looked like it was split in the middle. I now consider it unique and considered it mine,” she said on the interview.

She said she had thought in the past on going on a surgery but decided not to and instead loved and accepted whatever her physical appearance is.

Park Shin Hye is not alone in this kind of dilemma, also her co-star and leading man, Lee Min Ho.

Lee Min Ho thinks that he is not as good looking as his male co-stars like Kim Woo Bin and Park Hyung Sik and envies them too. “My face and my defined double eyelids cause me some insecurity,” said Lee Min Ho, but I guess what Lee Min Ho thinks of himself is way too far from what his fans thinks of him.

Actors, actresses, idols, musicians and even ordinary citizens consider going under a knife will make their physical appearances more accepted and more of gain confidence. Changing your physical appearance isn’t bad at all as long as you don’t let it change who you are.

Featuring the leading man in the drama, Kim Tan (Lee Min Ho) is seen topless in the beaches of Malibu Beach in Los Angeles, California.

He was enjoying the summer beach and surrounded by beautiful women in bikini. It was very hot in the beach but Lee Min Ho was very active during the scenes.

Also, the American girls that acted with Lee Min Ho fell for his charisma. One actress tweeted saying, “It was such an honor to work with an Asian star”.  

Production staff said, “Even though he was tired, Lee Min Ho always looked after the others on set. His captivating charisma, his diligent attitude, and his comforting smile showed us how great of an actor he is,” and “Please watch over Lee Min Ho and how he will take your breath away.”

Which “The Inheritors” drama stills you like?

In the photo, Kim Tan (played by Lee Min Ho) fights skillfully with an American guy, protecting Cha Eun Sang (played by Park Shin Hye).

The scene is filmed in front of a restaurant at Huntington Beach, Los Angeles. The production team specially chose the foreign location showing grandeur and luxurious life of the rich. Cha Eun Sang on the other hand is a low class citizen. She is the daughter of the Empire Group’s housekeeper.

It was Lee Min Ho’s first action scene which he carefully rehearsed, which also means there will be more amazing scenes from the actor.

The production said, “Lee Min Ho put on a great performance, and he’s always trying his best. He also often encourages everyone at the film set, so please show your support for him.”

Let’s compare with this other scene from the drama.

Park Shin Hye is now with co-actor Kang Min Hyuk as they are having a sweet date, also, in the streets of Los Angeles. Kang Min Hyuk plays as Yoon Chan Young, the warm-hearted son of the Empire Group’s secretary. He is Cha Eun Sang’s bestfriend and has feelings for Kim Tan’s ex-girlfriend.  

The ‘lollipop date’ of Park Shin-Hye and Gang Min-Hyuk were shot at the City Work, the shopping town in LA. Both rehearsed carefully and made a perfect shot for their scene. The production are happy with the chemistry of the two as they bring smiles to the whole set, they also called the pair as the ‘Lollipop Couple’.

Actor Kim Woo Bin and Park Shin Hye had their first scene together where it is also Cha Eun Sung and Choi Young-do’s first meeting, in front of a convenience store.

Choi Young-do is the heir of a luxury resort where he uses his wits to put down people around him. In the scene, Cha Eun Sung is napping in the table as Choi Young-do watches her earnestly. A love triangle between Cha Eun Sung, Kim Tan and Choi Young-do will be the highlight of the drama.

Kim Woo Bin stated, “I’m enjoying living the life of Choi Young-do. I’ll do my best even in the future to show a good image.”

The production company praised the two actors for naturally transitioning into the story and becoming their characters. The drama will make its debut on October 9th.

They changed the title?

From The Heirs comes The Inheritors. It is said that SBS used it as a title for a promotional venue so they came up with the change.

Below are stills of the much anticipated drama this year.

Park Shin Hye who plays as Cha Eun Sang appeared in dishwasher attire where she still looks gorgeous.

The writer built up Kim Tan’s character (played by Lee Min Ho) as the ever perfect human being in the drama. Surely, when he was that stubborn yet caring Gu Jun Pyo before was well loved by many fans, then this character of him as Kim Tan surely will make their hearts melt again.

In the drama Kim Tan is the heir of an Empire conglomerate and one of the top richest men. For a spice, Kim Tan searches for happiness despite his status and a tragic past haunts him too! Exciting!

Notice how the artist made Lee Min Ho’s wax model almost lifelike. Photos were released showing Lee Min Ho and the wax model together. The wax model was displayed at the Madame Tussauds Shanghai museum that amazed many Chinese fans.

      

Representative said, they had to decide on what would be the concept including its clothing and pose. It is said the Lee Min Ho’s wax model was the first among Korean actors that will be permanently displayed at the Shanghai Madame Tussauds.

Lee Min Ho was a high school student and Danji was a college student when the photo took place.

The Next Immortalized Idol, My Princess Star Song Seung Hun

After Lee Min Ho, Autumn in my Heart and My Princess star Song Seung Hun will be immortalized by a life sized figurine wax.

The Madame Tussuads in Busan said yesterday, September 13 that they will create a wax figure of Song and they are planning to display it this coming December. They measure almost five hundred items and make a wax stature by means of a 200 year old technique out of his measurements.

The Museum spokesperson added that it took them a lot of research and study to carefully choose the person that they will turn into a wax figure. Character, popularity and reputation are the most top requirements for choosing a subject and Song is the perfect subject to have his life sized wax figure for the said Museum. They anticipate that this wax figure will become famous not only in Busan fans but also to his international fans as well.

Madam Tussauads have branches in some countries such as UK, US, Korea, China, and Thailand and it is the biggest wax museum in the world, existing for a centennial-year-old already. They have 17 wax figures display in Busan including big names in the international scene like Lady Gaga, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Jackie Chan, Johnny Depp and many more.

Lee Min Ho Turning Into A Wax?

Last August 24, Lee Min Ho’s agency said that Kpop idol Lee Min Ho will be having his own life-size figurine in Shanghai for Madame Tussauds Museum in April next year.

Some of the staff museums fly to South Korea to get the measurement of the Hallyu actor, the clothes that he will wear plus the pose for the statue. In fact he needs to open his mouth for three hours just to capture different angles for his smile. That was so hard, really!

“We select local celebrities who are popular and highly respected in the areas. Lee Minho is not only one of the most popular actors in Asia but also a big Hallyu star, explained by a representative from the museum to why Min Ho was by Madame Tussuads chosen to be immortalized following the biggest names in entertainment industry such as David Beckham, Nicole Kidman, Tom Cruise, Madonna, Brad Pitt, Michael Jackson, Jackie Chan and so much more.

Furthermore, the City Hunter star is one of the well love Korean stars in South Korea and other foreign countries today. A great actor with such a handsome face and a kind heart as well, so no wonder he’s been selected by the museum. Go Lee Min Ho!

Korean Drama Series Boys over Flower Biggest Secret is finally Revealed!

A revelation was exposed that Jang Geun Suk is supposed to play the role of Goo Jun Pyo, and not Lee Min Ho, in the popular Korean drama series Boys Over Flowers.

 Jang Geun Suk said that he was torn between two great dramas, the Beethoven Virus (2008) and Boys Over Flowers (2009). He decided to be in the Korean TV series Beethoven Virus and felt that playing the role as a music genius in the drama offers him a lot of learning experience. The drama depicts the lives of classical musicians in Korea with special appearances of popular and great musicians.

Lee Min Ho, on the other hand became the second choice, got the role of Goo Jun Pyo, the not-so-kind heir of the Shin Hwa Group. Boys Over Flowers (adaption from the famous manga Hana Yori Dango) was aired in Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Philippines, United States and many more.

Geun Suk saw the success of Boys Over Flowers and how the fans got hooked with the drama, both locally and internationally and had no regrets because Lee Min Ho did the character well.

Lee Min Ho: A Swords Man Saga

For Lee Min Ho also known as Jun Pyo fanatic, your long wait is over. After his recently concluded korean drama series City Hunter, Jun Pyo will be back on action once again but with a different twist this time. He will portray the role of a charismatic swordsman on the upcoming series “Faith”.

The story is about a stubborn yet smart warrior during the Goryeo era. Lee Min Ho will play the character of Choi Young (the captain of the king’s bodyguard), which on the later part will become a general.

On his journey as one of the swordsman, he suddenly meets Kim Hee Sun (Eun Soo), a plastic surgeon who comes from the Koryo era from the present times. At first, they have a cat and dog relationship, but eventually, they soon fall in love with each other – isn't it so sweet? J
